Testimonials / Comments from Former Participants
What can I say about my experience with ‘Let the Heart Listen’? Still feeling the impact of this wonderful program. For me personally I valued the process of a much deeper discernment with being more honest about what was happening, being felt in my heart. Our quiet time enabled me to reflect on the gift of God’s love and grace, especially relational – the many people I love in my life. Our facilitator Carole provided our group with valuable learning processes, group sharing, identifying areas of challenge/ growth for how “to listen to all seasons of the heart.” – Anne VIC
‘Let the Heart Listen’ was a most enriching programme for me. I learned to listen to my own human experience, and, through articulating and sharing that experience, come to a new awakening to the Mystery within and about me. This awakening brought with it a sense of peace and meaning in my life. The contemplative approach appealed to me. I have come to listen more deeply to the heart and be compassionate to my inner self and the hearts of others.” – Anne NSW
Listening with the Heart has come to mean a time of moving from the outer and going within and being filled with a deep peace and trust in the Divine Love of God/Mystery. As I moved from head hearing to reflective then contemplative listening, I found healing in the letting go of painful experiences, letting go of what I thought I knew about God and the courage to trust the questions. I was incredibly blessed to have experienced the pure, unconditional Love of God and to have shared the journey with fellow seekers, under the wise, compassionate, gentle guidance of Carole Carmody.” – Kerin Vic
